Sub Arc Welder

Pay: $23-24/hr. (Shift Differential of $3)

Hours: Training will be on days 5AM-3:30PM Once Trained will transfer to nights 5:30PM-6AM

Weld Test: 3G Mig/Fluxcore on 1' pipe once Hired hired will need to complete a Sub Arc test on Sight. 

Job Brief:
We are seeking a skilled Sub Arc Welder to join our team. The role involves performing high-quality welds on 1' pipe and transitioning to Sub Arc welding upon successful completion of on-site testing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and ready to transition from training on the day shift to working the night shift.

Qualifications:

• Experience in concrete cutting or similar field a plus.
• Ability to operate different concrete saws, with a focus on safety.
• Good physical condition, able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
• Effective communicator and team player.

Responsibilities:

• Operate concrete saws and drilling equipment safely and accurately during assigned tasks.
• Read and interpret job specifications to prepare precise cutting lines on concrete materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols throughout all job activities.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Successfully pass a 3G MIG/Fluxcore weld test and complete an on-site Sub Arc test once hired.

Skills Required:

• Experience in concrete cutting, welding, or similar field is a plus.
• Proficiency in operating various types of concrete saws with a strong focus on safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in different weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to uphold safety and quality standards.
