Job Brief:
We are seeking a skilled Submerged Arc Welder to join our team. The role requires operating specialized welding equipment to join metal components using the submerged arc welding process. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience and a strong background in welding techniques, focusing on producing high-quality welds efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Operate submerged arc welding equipment to join metal components according to specifications.
• Perform welds that meet quality standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Pass a 1G Subarc test that will be radiographed to ensure the quality of welds.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine checks, and ensure safe operation during the welding process.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.

Skills Required:

• 2-3 years of experience in submerged arc welding.
• Proficiency in operating submerged arc welding equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality and precise welds.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a welding environment.
• Physical stamina and dexterity for handling welding tasks and equipment.
