Key Responsibilities:

• Operate submerged arc welding equipment to join metal components accurately according to specifications
• Complete welds that meet quality standards, ensuring consistency and precision
• Pass a 1G Subarc test, which will be radiographed to verify weld quality
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain high standards of quality

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in submerged arc welding
• Skilled in operating submerged arc welding equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and precision in every weld
• Knowledge of safety practices in a welding environment
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle welding tasks and equipment
