Sub Arc Welder

Pay: $25-28/hr.

Hours: Monday-Friday 5AM-3:30PM OR Weekend Shift Friday- Sunday 6AM-6PM

Weld Test:20" roll out MIG stringer 80D2 Wire LA90 with 880M flux hard wire hot pass fill and cap.  100% Xray then to the lab for NDT

Job Description: Reads prints, performs wire and stick welding, flame cutting, fitting, fabricating, and operating welding and cutting equipment. The ideal candidate will be punctual, dependable, and highly productive. In addition to hand welding and Sub Arc welding, you may be required to lay out guidelines or mark on metal parts and cut metal with a cutting torch or hand plasma cutter.

Qualifications:

Ability to pass a 1G Subarc test. Knowledge of carbon arc, 2G Mig, Fluxcore, and/or 2G Stick tests. Proficient in reading prints. Experience in hand welding and Sub Arc welding. Familiarity with welding and cutting equipment. Punctual, dependable, and productive work ethic.Must pass a drug screen and background requirements
