Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sub Arc Welder to join a manufacturing team specializing in precision welding operations. The Sub Arc role involves fabricating and repairing metal components, interpreting blueprints, ensuring high-quality welds, and adhering to all safety and quality standards. To succeed as a Sub Arc Welder, you must be comfortable operating and maintaining submerged arc welding equipment while following established procedures.

Test Requirement

• Stick test
• Sub Arc on ¾” thick plate, 18” long

Key Responsibilities

• Perform submerged arc welding (SAW) on metals such as steel, stainless steel, and alloys according to project specifications.
• Operate and maintain SAW equipment, ensuring proper setup and calibration.
• Utilize filler materials and fluxes appropriate to the welding process and base material.
• Inspect finished welds to confirm quality standards are met.
• Adhere to company safety practices and maintain a clean work environment.
