Structure Lead/Supervisor

• Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour, based on experience

We’re seeking an experienced Structure Lead/Supervisor to oversee our team in constructing structural steel components at our Catoosa facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine leadership, technical expertise, and production management in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Team Leadership: Guide and manage the manufacturing team while coordinating with suppliers to ensure seamless production.
• Hands-On Work: Participate in welding tasks and support your team to meet project goals.
• Production Management: Develop and oversee production schedules to maintain efficiency and deadlines.
• Quality Oversight: Inspect subcontractor work to ensure it meets quality, cost, and timing expectations.
• Facility Management: Prepare the facility and equipment for production demands.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, and Project Management teams to streamline operations and costs.
• Staff Management: Direct and support shop personnel, adjusting staffing levels as needed to maintain productivity.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge: Proficient in AWS and CWB standards, welding procedures, and blueprint interpretation.
• Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage teams and enhance team performance.
• Production Expertise: Familiarity with ERP systems for scheduling and BOM management, and understanding of labor and material costs.
• Collaborative Skills: Ability to work effectively with sales, quality, and engineering departments to meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

• Education/Experience: Technical degree preferred or 10+ years of welding or fabrication experience.
• Hands-On Skills: 2-5 years operating MIG, TIG, or SAW equipment.
• Physical Ability: Capable of lifting 50 pounds, walking 10,000-20,000 steps daily, and occasional facility travel.
