Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Structural Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa, OK. The Structural Welder is responsible for performing high-quality MIG welds on vertical joints of structural steel components. This role is ideal for welders who demonstrate precision, consistency, and the ability to produce strong, clean welds in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel in the 3G vertical position.
• Interpret blueprints and weld symbols to ensure all welds meet project specifications.
• Prepare and align materials, ensuring proper joint configuration and fit-up before welding.
• Conduct downhill root and uphill cap passes per the required test procedure.
• Inspect completed welds for strength, uniformity, and quality assurance.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas while following all company safety procedures.
• Operate welding tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must pass a 3G MIG weld test: Downhill root / Uphill cap.
• Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience on structural components preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GMAW process and welding standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
• Must maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork in an industrial setting.
