Position Overview

We are hiring a Structural Welder – MIG (3G Position) to join a Tulsa-based fabrication team. This role focuses on welding vertical joints on structural steel components using advanced MIG (GMAW) processes. A successful Structural Welder – MIG (3G Position) will ensure strong, precise welds that meet safety, quality, and industry standards for construction, industrial, and support structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding in the 3G position, focusing on vertical joints for structural steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
• Prepare materials, set up welding equipment, and maintain proper welding techniques.
• Inspect welds for conformance to standards and correct any defects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of welds and project progress.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a structural welder specializing in MIG welding.
• Ability to pass a 3G MIG test (downhill root and uphill cap).
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work long shifts.
