Structural Welder/Fitter

Pay: $20-25/hr.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM OR 6AM-6:30PM Friday- Sunday

Weld Tests: Fluxcore Vision test on beam and pipe, Uphill, overhead and flat on beam and flat on pipe. 3G Double bevel on 1" plate butted up - Test will be shot per code.  Must carbon arc back then fill and cap with the same 3G Position.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Structural Fitter with the ability to work with I-beams ranging from 6 x 25 to 12 x 50. You will handle finished units with sizes from 8’ x 20’ to 16’ x 50’. Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and general weld procedures is essential. Candidates must pass an open book written test and be skilled in operating overhead cranes and forklifts. Familiarity with AWS D1.1 standards is required.
