Structural Welder / Fabricator

Pay: $18–$22/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Welder / Fabricator to join a growing fabrication team in East Tulsa. This Structural Welder / Fabricator role requires the ability to read prints, fabricate independently from start to finish, and adapt quickly when fabrication challenges arise. The position plays a key role in the production of meter houses and structural steel components.

What the Structural Welder / Fabricator Will Be Doing

• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Layout, cut, prep, fit, and weld materials independently
• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel
• Pass and perform 3G plate welding on ¾” plate (no run-off tabs)
• Fabricate and weld steel siding / R-Panel for meter houses
• Make real-time fabrication adjustments as required
• Maintain quality, accuracy, and safety standards at all times

Required Qualifications for the Structural Welder / Fabricator

• 2+ years of welding experience required
• Proven experience in structural welding and fabrication
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
• Knowledge of steel fabrication processes
• Experience working with pipe materials, wall thicknesses, and grading systems
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the job
• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oil & gas or industrial construction environments
• Prior experience fabricating meter houses or R-Panel (training available for motivated candidates)
