Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Structural Welder to support welding and fabrication operations at the Port of Catoosa. This role focuses on setting up and operating welding equipment, performing high-quality weld repairs, and ensuring all work meets specification and quality standards.

The Structural Welder will apply welding expertise to reduce scrap, rework, and downtime while maintaining professionalism, safety, and consistent attendance.

Weld Test Requirements

• Closed Root 3G Flux Core – Fill & Cap
• Tape measure test (must be able to read a tape measure)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding equipment per job requirements
• Perform structural welding while meeting quality and appearance standards
• Repair defective products to specification
• Use welding expertise to reduce scrap, rework, and downtime
• Ensure all work is completed to specification
• Maintain high-quality workmanship
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and strong work ethic

Required Qualifications

• Ability to pass the required weld test
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Self-motivated with strong attention to quality
• Reliable attendance and professional attitude
