Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join a fast-paced fabrication environment in Sapulpa. The Structural Welder role is safety-sensitive and requires operating welding equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, and automated machinery while producing high-quality structural welds in accordance with company and industry standards.

Weld Test Information

• 3G butt plate — flux fill and cap
• Back gouge — flux single pass

Key Responsibilities

• Employ proper welding methods for structural fabrication
• Calibrate welding tools per WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications)
• Perform fillet, tack, and full-penetration welds on steel structural joints using GMAW and FCAW
• Clean and grind materials as required for post-weld finishing
• Set up welding equipment for various positions
• Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, trucks, and automated equipment
• Inspect work for defects and ensure it meets specifications
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures
• Maintain a professional demeanor and report equipment/product defects immediately

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year welding experience or welding school graduate
• Ability to set up, evaluate, and operate various welding and cutting equipment including:
– Oxygen/fuel gas cutting systems
– Plasma cutting equipment
– AC/DC welding equipment
• Ability to pass the required welding qualification test
