Position Overview

We’re seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join a leading fabrication team in Sapulpa, OK. This hands-on role requires experience with MIG and Flux Core welding processes and a strong focus on safety and precision. As a Structural Welder, you’ll work with large steel structures, ensuring each weld meets company and customer specifications while maintaining top-tier quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fillet, tack, and full-penetration welds on steel structural joints using GMAW and FCAW processes.
• Calibrate welding equipment and adjust settings according to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks to safely move and position materials.
• Inspect completed welds for defects and verify compliance with specifications.
• Use grinders, wire brushes, and other tools to clean welds and prep materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Conduct equipment inspections before and after each shift.
• Report any product or equipment defects to supervisors immediately.
• Follow all safety and quality control procedures, including the use of proper PPE.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of welding experience or completion of a welding trade school program.
• Must pass the required welding qualification test (3G MIG/Flux Core, T-Plate).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Capable of setting up and operating various welding and cutting tools, including oxygen/fuel gas and plasma cutting equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
