Job Title: Structural Welder
Pay: $22/hour
Location: Sapulpa, OK
Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday (Occasional Saturday)

Position Overview

We are currently hiring a Structural Welder for a reputable company located in Sapulpa. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the use of overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, power equipment, and automated machinery. The ideal candidate will have welding experience or training, the ability to pass a weld test, and a strong commitment to quality and workplace safety. Required Experience & Skills

• 1 year of welding experience and/or welding school graduate
• Ability to set up, evaluate, and operate various welding and cutting equipment, including:
 - Oxygen and fuel gas cutting equipment
 - Plasma cutting equipment
 - AC/DC welding equipment
• Must pass required 3G MIG/Flux Core & T-plate welding qualification test

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As a Structural Welder, your responsibilities will include:
• Utilizing proper welding methods for structural fabrication
• Calibrating and setting up welding tools in accordance with welding procedure specifications
• Performing fillet, tack, and full penetration welds on steel structural joints using GMAW and FCAW processes
• Cleaning and grinding materials post-welding as necessary
• Operating and setting up welding equipment in various positions
• Using overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and dollies to move equipment and materials
• Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Conducting pre- and post-shift equipment inspections
• Following all company safety and quality procedures
• Reporting any defective equipment or product issues to the supervisor immediately
• Maintaining a professional and safety-conscious attitude on the job

Preferred Education

• Welding certification or vocational welding education is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial
