• Multiple Positions: Downhill Butt Weld, Fillet, Overhead

Position Overview

We are currently hiring for a Structural Welder in Tulsa, OK. This position requires the ability to read technical blueprints and operate a variety of welding equipment to complete high-quality welds in multiple positions. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of welding processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding specifications
• Set up and operate welding machines, adjusting settings such as amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse based on job requirements
• Inspect welding equipment and accessories to ensure safe, proper functionality
• Determine the correct welding technique, positioning, and jig based on material and design
• Guide electrode or welding gun accurately along designated weld paths, using visual and auditory cues to monitor quality
• Select the most efficient welding process for moving raw or finished materials as needed
• Examine completed welds for cracks, bead size, or other defects and perform or recommend repairs
• Clean and grind excess weld, slag, and splatter to ensure a clean finish
• Degrease, grind, or clean parts to meet quality standards
• Safely operate manlifts and cranes for material handling and positioning
• Support production goals by performing other duties as assigned
