Structural Welder

Pay: $18-$20/hr.

Hours: Days 6AM-4:30PM Nights 5PM-3:30AM

Job Description:

Must be a highly safety-oriented individual. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in shop fabrication and welding structural. Extensive knowledge of welding with GMAW. FCAW is pulse to the thermal processes in the manufacturing of various types of structure. Ability to pass a weld. Qualification for each process. Ability to read and understand drawings, prints. Ability to weld within the parameters of a WPS/PQR. Ability to be a self-motivated and highly productive employee who requires minimal supervision and who can efficiently execute a plan to make jobs happen on time within the estimated hours given. Ability to be a team player who can work well with others to achieve company goals. Ability to recognize and rectify sub-standard welds to ensure product quality. Ability to be punctual and dependent with a willingness to work hours outside of a standard schedule when required to achieve a task or complete a project Must be willing to step outside of welding role when a company need arises and perform basic tasks such as assembly, grinding, sanding, and shop clean up.
