Structural Welder
Pay: $21 to 23/hr. (Shift Diff for nights of $1.00)
Hours: 6:00AM-2:30PM OR 4PM-12:30AM Monday-Friday
Location: Sapulpa, OK
Test: 3G Mig/Flux Core, T-Plate
Job Responsibilities:
This role involves working with various equipment, including overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, power equipment, and automated machinery, making it a safety-sensitive position. Responsibilities include employing appropriate welding methods for structural fabrication, calibrating welding tools per welding procedure specifications, and performing fillet, tack, and full penetration welding on steel structural joints using processes such as GMAW and FCAW. Post-welding treatment involves cleaning and grinding materials as necessary. Setting up equipment for welding in different positions and operating overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and dollies to position equipment and materials are also part of the job. Inspecting work for defects and ensuring it meets specifications, maintaining a clean work area, and conducting equipment inspections before and after shifts are crucial. Adherence to company safety and quality procedures is paramount, as is maintaining a professional demeanor. Any equipment or product defects must be reported to the supervisor immediately.
