Structural Fitter Welder

Pay: $22-27/hr.

Hours: Monday-Friday 5PM-3AM

Job Description:

The ideal candidate must be able to lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble structural forms, such as heat exchangers. The welder will select plans for assembly, fitting components together manually or with the use of overhead jib cranes. This role requires performing simple mathematics to determine part dimensions. Candidates must be capable of setting up welding machines and welding guns, assembling, and disassembling welding tips and liners, feeding wire and adjusting voltage using arc or gas-shielded arc welding equipment. Proficiency in blueprint reading and first article inspection is required.
