Structural Fitter Welder

Pay: $24+/hr.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:30 PM - 3 AM

Weld Test:

Must pass 2G and 3G weld test (2 years of experience and fitting experience required).

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Structural Fitter Welder with exceptional skills in laying out, fitting, and welding fabricated components to assemble structural forms. Proficiency in blueprint reading for layout purposes is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Select equipment and plan the layout, assembly, and welding process.
• Position, align, and fit components together using manual means or overhead/jib cranes.
• Set up welding machinery, including assembling and disassembling welding tips and liners.
• Adjust wire feed and voltage, utilizing arc or gas-shielded arc welding equipment.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Operate cutting torches, plasma torches, and small saw machines for cutting, coping, and notching materials.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of structural fitting and welding experience.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong aptitude for manual and technical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
