Structural Fitter Welder
Pay: $22-27/HR DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM

Job Brief:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Fitter Welder to join our team in Catoosa, Oklahoma. This role involves fitting and welding fabricated components to assemble structural forms like heat exchangers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in welding, blueprint reading, and using overhead cranes, and must be comfortable working overnight hours.
Responsibilities:
· Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble structural forms, such as heat exchangers.
· Select assembly plans and fit components together either manually or using overhead jib cranes.
· Perform basic math to determine part dimensions for accurate fitting and welding.
· Set up welding machines and guns, including assembling and disassembling welding tips and liners.
· Feed wire and adjust voltage using arc or gas-shielded arc welding equipment.
· Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and welding.
· Conduct first article inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of the final product.
Skills Required:
· 1+ years of experience in structural welding and fitting.
· Proficiency in MIG & Flux Core welding techniques, with the ability to perform 2G Plate tests.
· Strong blueprint reading skills for accurate layout and fitting.
· Ability to set up and operate welding machines and equipment efficiently.
· Basic math skills for determining part dimensions and fitting components.
· Familiarity with overhead cranes and manual material handling for assembly.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality inspections.
