Structural Fitter – Night Shift

·         Pay: $23.00/hr

·         Hours: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 3:30 AM (occasional Saturdays)

·         Location: Sapulpa, OK

·         Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

·         Weld Test Requirement:

o    10' T-Plate on 1/4" thick plate (visual inspection)

o    3G MIG/Flux Core on 1/2" thick beveled butt plate

Position Summary

We are currently hiring a Structural Fitter for our night shift to support a growing steel fabrication team. This role is essential in fitting and aligning structural steel components for large-scale and specialized projects. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented and capable of preparing materials accurately for welding and assembly.

Key Responsibilities

·         Read and interpret blueprints with precision.

·         Use tape measures and other standard measuring tools to ensure accuracy.

·         Assist in the fitting and layout of structural steel components for welding.

·         Collaborate with welding personnel to ensure structural integrity.

·         Operate and work safely around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, and automated machinery.

·         Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

Requirements

·         Ability to pass the required weld tests.

·         Previous welding experience is a plus.

·         This is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position due to the use of heavy equipment and potentially hazardous machinery.

·         Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
