Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Structural Fitter for a fabrication shop located in Tulsa. This role requires hands-on fitting experience in a shop environment, along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate layout and assembly. The Structural Fitter will work closely with welders and fabrication teams to fit and align structural components according to specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Fit and align structural steel components according to blueprints and shop drawings

• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication specifications

• Perform layout work to ensure proper fit-up prior to welding

• Use measuring tools and fitting equipment accurately

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Follow all shop safety and quality standards

• Assist with additional fabrication tasks as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

• 2–3 years of structural fitting experience in a fabrication shop

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Strong understanding of structural fit-up and alignment

• Ability to pass a Fitter’s Test

• Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
