Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-minded Shop Helper to assist craftsmen and support daily production operations in a fabrication environment located in Sapulpa, OK. The Shop Helper will work around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, and other power equipment, making this a safety-sensitive position. The ideal candidate will have basic fabrication experience, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn new skills while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist craftsmen with assigned fabrication and shop duties.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain productivity levels that meet company standards as defined by work instructions.
• Ensure all workmanship meets company quality standards.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, maintaining a hazard-free workspace.
• Support 5S requirements, contributing to a clean and organized shop environment.
• Work collaboratively as a team player, offering input to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Uphold a professional attitude and commitment to completing tasks on time.

Skills and Qualifications

• Basic fabrication shop experience preferred.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and power tools safely.
• Able to read and write basic shop communications.
• Proficient with a shop tape measure and basic math.
• Willingness to learn to read shop drawings and understand bills of materials.
• Must demonstrate a strong desire to learn new skills and grow within the company.
