Job Title: Shop Helper
Hours: 4:30PM - 3:00AM

Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $18.00/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Helper to join our team in Sapulpa. The Shop Helper will be responsible for assisting craftsmen with various tasks while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role involves working with and around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, power equipment, automated equipment, and other hazardous processes. As such, this position is classified as a Safety Sensitive role.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and professionalism, consistently meeting the company’s productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

·         Assist craftsmen with assigned tasks and projects.

·         Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and power tools as required.

·         Maintain productivity levels consistent with company requirements as defined by work instructions.

·         Ensure workmanship meets the company’s quality standards.

·         Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

·         Uphold 5S requirements to ensure a clean and organized workspace.

·         Exhibit professionalism as part of a team, contributing to project efficiency and safety.

·         Actively participate in team activities to complete assignments on time.

Skills and Experience

·         Basic fabrication shop experience.

·         Proficiency in operating overhead cranes and power tools.

·         Ability to read and write basic shop communications.

·         Skilled in using a shop tape measure.

·         Willingness and ability to learn to read shop drawings and understand the bill of materials.

·         Must demonstrate the ability to acquire new skills and adapt to new tasks.
