Shipping/Receiving Associate
Location: Broken Arrow
Shift: 6am-4:30pm
Pay: $20-24/hour
Required:
Proven experience as a Shipping/Receiving Associate in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Must have forklift experience.
Must have inventory experience. (SAP inventory system is preferred)
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and handling materials.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, as the role may involve manual handling.
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a 11-panel drug screen and a national background.
Job Description:
Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. Ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies.
Prepare and pack outgoing shipments according to company standards and customer requirements. Generate shipping labels and documentation.
Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and report any variances. Organize and store products in designated areas.
Inspect products for damages or defects and ensure they meet quality standards before shipment.
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for shipping and receiving activities. Update inventory systems and records.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
Work closely with other departments, including procurement, production, and customer service, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Problem-solving abilities and proactive attitude.
Familiarity with inventory software and shipping tools.
Strong time management and multitasking skills.
