Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Sheet Metal Worker to join a Tulsa-based team specializing in scrap metal processing. The Sheet Metal Worker will assist with cutting, sorting, and preparing scrap metal for recycling and disposal while following all safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate torches, saws, shears, and plasma cutters to break down scrap metal.
Sort and separate materials by type, size, and grade for recycling or reuse.
Load and unload scrap using forklifts, pallet jacks, or overhead cranes.
Inspect scrap for contaminants or hazardous materials and report issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Assist with documentation of scrap quantities and inventory tracking.
Support additional fabrication or warehouse tasks as required.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in metal cutting or fabrication.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Forklift experience is required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable working outdoors or in shop environments.
