Setup Technician
Pay: $28/hour Location: Catoosa Shift: 4 days on / 4 days off, day and night shifts available (assigned by supervisor upon hire) Job Type: Temp to Hire
Position Overview
We are hiring a skilled Setup Technician to join our Catoosa facility. The Setup Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining robotic and automated systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires expertise in mechanical, electrical, and software systems, along with strong troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
5+ years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic Tech in a manufacturing environment
High school diploma or GED preferred; technical school certification preferred
Hands-on experience with industrial robotics
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with PLCs, HMI interfaces, and automation software
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Install, configure, and calibrate robotic and automation systems
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting on robotic equipment
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and programming issues
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize robotic workflows
Document setup procedures, troubleshooting, and maintenance logs
Train operators and staff on equipment use and safety protocols
Operate rigging equipment to place heavy machinery and align parts to tolerances
Service and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding systems as needed
Maintain an inventory of replacement parts and ensure compliance with safety standards as a Setup Technician
Preferred Education
Technical certification in automation, robotics, or related fields
