Position Summary The Senior Industrial Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, selecting, and placing candidates for various Skilled Trade positions. This role also involves performing various HR tasks related to compensation, benefits, and contract negotiations, as well as advising and training sourcing specialists and recruiters on standard issues. Key Responsibilities • Identify and evaluate potential candidates for skilled trade positions in designated markets. • Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for job openings. • Match candidates' skills to current and future job openings. • Aim to achieve a weekly gross profit run rate of $6,500 within 12 months. • Maintain strong relationships with clients as the secondary contact, addressing their skilled trade needs. • Submit qualified candidates for open job orders to meet weekly metrics. • Manage candidate data, including pre-qualified candidates and job postings, in the company’s database. • Write and interpret job descriptions and post them in the company’s database. • Present strong candidates to clients and facilitate interview processes. • Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and drug tests. • Inform candidates of hiring decisions and negotiate salary and benefits. • Consistently onboard new associates each week to meet recruitment goals. • Track and maintain all candidate documentation and assist with payroll and other HR functions as needed. • Meet weekly lead generation metrics by verifying leads and maintaining contact details. • Network with community groups and attend job fairs to promote job opportunities and stay updated on industry trends. • Participate in the implementation of new recruiting technologies and best practices in the skilled trades sector. Qualifications • Three years of experience in recruiting or staffing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Previous experience in a staffing agency is required, particularly in high-volume commercial, skilled trades, or professional recruitment. • Familiarity with Boolean search techniques is a plus. • A team player who is willing to assist and train others. • Strong technical skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems effectively. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and productive relationships. • Outstanding customer service and business ethics. • Motivated, energetic, and willing to work extended hours as needed. • Highly adaptable to change and thorough in follow-up. • Strong organizational and time management skills.
