Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting and cost accounting functions within a manufacturing/aerospace environment. The Senior Accountant will ensure compliance with GAAP, maintain accurate financial records, and provide insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.

Primary Duties

• Manage the general ledger and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support manufacturing cost accounting, including inventory valuation and variance analysis
• Oversee inventory management within ERP systems and support operations with transaction inquiries
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations (MST)
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, supporting audits and compliance with aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100)
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to provide financial insights

Required Qualifications

• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with ERP systems in manufacturing environments
• Advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial analysis tools
• Ability to prepare and present complex financial data to Executive Leadership
• Experience with cost accounting and inventory management in manufacturing or aerospace production
