Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Refinishing Technician to join a manufacturing team in Tulsa. The Refinishing Technician is responsible for preparing, polishing, and restoring metal components while ensuring the highest level of finish quality and durability.

This Refinishing Technician role involves working with hand tools, polishing equipment, and precision measuring instruments while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in metal refinishing, polishing, or assembly preferred
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment
• Ability to read and follow instructions, diagrams, or work orders
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Experience with calipers and micrometers is a plus
• 1–3 years of experience using scales, rulers, and protractors preferred

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Refinishing Technician role includes:

• Carefully disassemble hardware and metal components for refinishing
• Perform surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, and masking parts
• Polish and buff metal surfaces to restore or improve finish quality
• Coordinate with plating vendors or internal teams for replating processes
• Reassemble components ensuring proper fit and functionality
• Inspect finished products for quality, durability, and finish consistency
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
