Receiving Inspector

Pay: $18-22/hr.

Job Description:

We are seeking a receiving inspector to perform inspections in accordance with purchase orders, ensuring all shipped items meet specified requirements such as part configuration and revision levels. Your role will involve thorough reviews of material and processing certifications to ensure alignment with purchase orders and engineering specifications. Utilizing a range of inspection methods and instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, air gauges, radius gauges, and calipers, you will meticulously inspect machined aerospace parts and assemblies. This includes conducting simple to moderate layouts and setups on a surface plate. Should any parts not meet requirements, you will be responsible for initiating nonconformance records and processing accordingly. Additionally, you will complete reviews of Supplier First Article Inspections to AS9102 standards, ensuring adherence to engineering, company, and contractual requirements. Flexibility is key as you may be assigned other duties as needed.
