Pay: $25.00+ per hour

Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (Overtime as needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support manufacturing operations through First Article, in-process, and final inspections. This role ensures all products conform to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards while supporting production quality objectives.

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspection decision-making, documentation, and collaboration with production and engineering teams to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspections
• Verify product conformity to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
• Complete inspection documentation accurately and per procedures
• Make informed accept/reject decisions based on specifications
• Identify, control, and document nonconforming products
• Record inspection time and job activity in the ERP system (e.g., JobBoss)
• Prioritize inspection workload to support production schedules
• Communicate inspection results with manufacturing personnel
• Assist with nonconformance resolution and corrective actions
• Support organizational quality goals and risk identification

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Working knowledge of GD&T principles
• Proficiency using standard measuring equipment (SME) and layout inspection techniques
• Ability to work within an AS9100 quality management system
• Experience performing gage R&R studies
• Familiarity with calibration systems
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and database tools
• Minimum 2 years of inspection and blueprint reading experience in manufacturing
• High School Diploma or equivalent (experience may substitute for education)
• CMM operation or programming experience preferred, not required
• Welding Inspector Specialist or Assistant experience/education as applicable
