Job Position: Quality Inspector
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Location: North East Tulsa
Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform inspection functions on detail parts throughout multiple stages of production. This role supports compliance with quality systems and customer requirements by inspecting products, reviewing documentation, and accurately recording inspection results.

The Quality Inspector works under close supervision and collaborates with production and quality teams to ensure processes meet established standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect parts and documentation at various stages of production
• Assist production personnel in establishing and documenting inspection criteria
• Prepare parts and documentation to meet internal and external quality requirements
• Accurately enter inspection data into the work order tracking system
• Document nonconforming material per quality system requirements
• Identify part deficiencies and assist with preventing recurrence
• Determine product acceptability based on work orders and specifications
• Exercise “stop the job” authority when quality issues are identified
• Perform sampling inspections using approved methods
• Properly use calibrated measuring equipment
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and documentation
• Maintain clean and organized inspection areas
• Handle customer-supplied product with care
• Access and follow customer specifications and procedures
• Manage time effectively to support production and delivery schedules
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, vendors, and internal customers
• Follow and enforce all safety requirements
• Work overtime, including weekends, when required
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Inspection Lead

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Candidates without a diploma/GED may be required to complete a pre-employment assessment
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend American English
• Ability to read and interpret customer drawings, blueprints, sketches, and related documents
