Position Overview

A Tulsa-based company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to ensure fabricated metal components and finished products meet company and customer specifications. The Quality Control Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and compliance.
• Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and tape measures to verify tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or processes to supervisors.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform final inspections before shipment and ensure proper labeling and packing.
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean inspection area.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in quality control or inspection in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T principles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
