Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Associate to support production operations by ensuring products meet required quality, integrity, functionality, and specification standards. This role includes implementing quality standard testing processes, conducting inspections, completing documentation, and reporting status to leadership and regulatory agencies as needed.

Responsibilities

The Quality Control Associate will:

  • Evaluate production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
  • Facilitate communication among production divisions and management.
  • Assess test results and approve recommended changes.
  • Conduct inspections and quality control checks.
  • Complete all required documentation.
  • Periodically report status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Must have NDE/NDT level, with 850 hours of learning experience and 1660 hours of working experience.
  • Experience with dimensional inspection.
  • Experience in magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, and PMI testing.
  • Ability to work independently to established procedures.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints.

Education and Experience

  • 2 years of related in quality control.
  • Knowledge of material specifications ASTM & ASME.
  • Knowledge of welding specifications AWS & ASME.
  • CWI preferred.
  • Knowledge of all necessary tooling.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Ability to maneuver in a shop or yard assembly environment.
  • Extensive walking and standing, climbing on ladders, scaffolding, crouching, twisting, and stooping are often required.
