Job Description
Quality Control Inspector
· Pay: $23–$26 per hour (DOE)
· Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM (potential Saturdays; hours may vary based on workload)
· Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
· Location: Tulsa, OK
Responsibilities
· Evaluate production operations at a strategic level to ensure products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and regulatory requirements.
· Develop and implement quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
· Facilitate communication between production divisions and management.
· Assess test results and approve recommended changes to production processes.
· Conduct inspections and quality control checks to maintain compliance with industry standards.
· Complete and maintain all necessary documentation.
· Periodically report on the status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, as required, regulatory agencies.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
· Proficiency in dimensional inspection techniques.
· Experience with magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, and PMI testing.
· Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Education & Experience
· Minimum of two years of experience in quality control.
· Knowledge of ASTM & ASME material specifications.
· Familiarity with AWS & ASME welding specifications.
· Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification preferred.
· Proficiency in the use of all necessary tooling for quality inspections.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
· Comfortable working in a shop or yard assembly environment.
· Extensive walking and standing, as well as climbing ladders, scaffolding, crouching, twisting, and stooping.
