Quality Control Inspector

Pay: $16 - $18 per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Pryor, OK. This role involves inspecting products, monitoring production operations, and ensuring all work meets company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality assurance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

·         Inspect products and components to ensure compliance with quality standards.

·         Develop and conduct quality control tests on products.

·         Disassemble product parts to inspect them individually for defects.

·         Monitor production operations to verify conformance with specifications.

·         Direct assembly adjustments to maintain product integrity and quality.

·         Ensure customer expectations are met according to company objectives.

·         Document inspection results and report findings, including recommendations for corrective action.

Qualifications & Requirements

·         Education: High school diploma required.

·         Certifications:

o    Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) certification preferred.

·         Skills & Experience:

o    Previous experience in quality control and product inspection in a manufacturing setting.

o    Strong understanding of industry products and processes.

o    Basic mathematical skills for measurements and tolerances.

o    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

o    Ability to work independently and efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

o    Forklift experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions

·         Physical Demands:

o    Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), reaching, grasping, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and pulling.

o    Ability to operate inspection tools and machinery.

·         Work Environment:

o    Exposure to non-climate-controlled environments, dust, fumes, and airborne particles.

o    May require working near moving mechanical parts, extreme temperatures, and potential electrical hazards.

o    PPE (personal protective equipment) required, including respirator use when necessary.
