Pay: $18.25-$20.30/hour DOE
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Shift may vary depending on business needs and weather)

Summary:

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures for incoming and outgoing materials, parts, and finished precast concrete.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as audit standards.
• Accurately document inspection and testing results.
• Verify embedded items are correctly located; report and document any discrepancies.
• Coordinate the calibration of all test equipment and fixtures.
• Perform all fresh and hardened concrete tests.
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficiency in applying mathematical operations to tasks, determining test reliability and validity, and analysis.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in a construction environment, regardless of weather conditions (heat or cold).
• Physical capability to lift, bend, climb, stretch, twist, and reach with arms and legs.
• Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
• Willingness to work overtime and mandatory Saturdays when scheduled.
• Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights.
