Quality Inspector & CMM Operator
Pay: $20/hour+ DOE
Location: Tulsa, OK
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary)

General Purpose of the Position for the Quality Inspector & CMM Operator:
Provide first article, in-process, and final inspections supporting manufacturing needs while ensuring products comply with the appropriate engineering and specifications. Additionally, the Quality Inspector & CMM Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the CMM.
Major Work Functions of the Quality Inspector & CMM Operator:
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using standard measuring equipment to verify product quality and document results according to company policy.
- Make educated decisions when accepting or rejecting products based on applicable specifications and engineering requirements.
- Document inspection results, control nonconforming products, and track work in JobBoss.
- Prioritize inspections to support organizational goals and minimize production delays.
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to resolve nonconformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Operate and maintain the Zeiss G2 CMM Machine with proficiency in GD&T, Calypso, and Catia annotation when required.
Essential Functions:
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications.
- Utilize Calypso (knowledge preferred) and Catia annotation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard SME tools.
- Experience with AS 9100 quality management systems and calibration processes.
- Ability to perform layout inspections and operate/program CMM equipment.
- Maintain and calibrate precision machinery; determine programming requirements based on design and engineering standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (post-secondary education can substitute for experience).
- Minimum of 2 years’ inspection experience with blueprint reading in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 2 years’ CMM operation/programming experience required; certification strongly preferred.
- NDT Level I, II, or III certification in Florescent Penetrant Inspection preferred but not required.
- Weld Inspector certification preferred but not required.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform inspections throughout the manufacturing floor.
