QA Technician
Pay: $17.50/hour (includes shift differential)
Hours: 1st Shift | 6:00am – 3:00pm | Overtime as needed

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician to monitor production processes and uphold food safety standards. The QA Technician will be responsible for performing quality checks, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within our food manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·         The QA Technician will perform routine inspections and tests on raw materials and finished products.

·         Monitor and document food safety and quality control processes, including USDA, HACCP, and GMP standards.

·         Conduct pH, temperature, and moisture tests, and escalate deviations to the FSQA Supervisor.

·         Maintain accurate records for audits and collaborate with production teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

·         Communicate any quality or safety issues immediately and help enforce proper handling and processing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or GED required; a degree in food science or microbiology is a plus.

·         Experience in food safety, QA, or meat processing/manufacturing preferred.

·         Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and food safety compliance.

·         Ability to work in cold environments and a fast-paced setting.

·         Must be a strong communicator and team player.

·         Basic computer and data entry skills required.
