QA Technician
Pay: $17.50/hour (includes shift differential)
Location: Owasso, Oklahoma
Hours: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM–11:00 PM | OT as needed

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-driven QA Technician to support food safety and quality compliance in a regulated production environment. The QA Technician will be responsible for monitoring processes, performing product testing, ensuring documentation accuracy, and supporting company-wide adherence to USDA, GMP, HACCP, and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor production processes for compliance with USDA, GMP, HACCP, and company policies
• Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
• Maintain accurate records: quality control logs, inspection reports, food safety documentation
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory and audit requirements
• Assist with preparation and submission of audit reports
• Perform routine product testing: temperature checks, pH, moisture analysis, weight checks
• Verify that test results meet specifications; notify FSQA Supervisor of deviations
• Ensure products comply with all food safety regulations
• Assist with implementing and maintaining food safety and quality procedures
• Stay current with regulatory updates and industry standards
• Work closely with production and sanitation teams to maintain quality standards
• Provide feedback and guidance to production staff on food safety practices
• Communicate quality or safety concerns promptly
• Provide direction on proper handling, storage, and processing of materials
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or related field a plus
• Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or within meat processing/food manufacturing preferred
• Strong working knowledge of HACCP, SPC, GMP, SSOP, and food safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail; able to follow strict procedures
• Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in cold/refrigerated environments
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, regulated setting
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; Spanish helpful but not required
