Project Estimator

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Pay: $17–$18 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel has an immediate direct-hire opening for a Project Estimator. The ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional customer service, attention to detail, strong computer proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Outside Sales Specialist to prepare and send customer quotes within 24–48 hours.
• Use provided information to develop comprehensive and accurate quotes.
• Research products and solutions as needed to determine factors affecting cost and production.
• Enter all quote details into the system and ensure timely delivery within 24 hours, with follow-ups within 72 hours.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term business growth.
• Process sales orders efficiently, ensuring quotes are converted to sales orders within 24 hours of customer approval.
• Track and monitor the progress of sales orders to ensure completion and delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Commitment to impeccable customer service.
• Reliable and punctual, maintaining consistent attendance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and quote/order processing software.
