Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is hiring Production Techs for immediate openings in Seneca. The Production Tech will perform precision mechanical and automated assembly in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to meet strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly, potting, soldering, and spot welding
• Assemble products according to technical drawings and blueprints
• Conduct product testing using electronic volt meters, helium leak testing equipment, and digital X-ray systems
• Process electrodes (clean tabs, sort defects, assemble cells, activation)
• Set up and program equipment such as laser beam welders
• Operate automated systems including winders, wrappers, filling systems, stackers, welders, presses, grinders, coating and slitting equipment
• Perform product quality self-inspections
• Collect and organize process and product data
• Meet production deadlines while adhering to safety policies

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• High School Diploma required
• Must be able to obtain ATF Clearance (Energetic Devices Facility)
• Must pass extensive background check (zero felonies) and drug screen
• Strong attention to detail and quality-first mindset
• Proven reliability and excellent attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in electronics soldering, spot welding, crimping, laser beam welding, ESD, DOT packaging, X-ray (Level I or II), brazing
• Experience operating manual or automated assembly equipment
• Experience with automated pressing equipment dies
• Previous manufacturing or automated systems experience
