Production Supervisor
Pay: $24–$28/hour (DOE) Shift Differential: Additional pay for night shifts Location: Pryor, OK 74361 Job Type: Full-Time Job Order #: 123788
Position Overview
The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all production and employee activities on the assigned shift. The Production Supervisor will lead with a safety-first mindset, ensure production targets are met, maintain quality standards, and promote accountability and teamwork across the floor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise and report on shift production activities to ensure quality and safety compliance
Communicate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and deadlines
Analyze production and operations reports to resolve manufacturing or maintenance issues
Conduct machine inspections to ensure performance and safety
Develop and update operational procedures; ensure team compliance
Promote a 5S-compliant, continuous improvement culture
Manage raw material blending (concentrate, additives, repellitized materials)
Oversee startup/shutdown of extrusion and downstream equipment
Identify and resolve non-conforming material (NCM) issues
Conduct effective shift handovers with clear communication
Training Requirements
General Safety and Housekeeping Standards
Quality training and defect identification
PE pipe coiling and unloading procedures
Extrusion troubleshooting and gasket installation
Wall thickness, O.D., and ovality measurements
Tool usage: micrometers, O.D. tape, calipers
Mold block setup and corrugated line adjustments
Material blending and purge procedures
Reliable transportation required.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven supervisory and leadership experience
Knowledge of manufacturing safety and quality standards
Experience with Lean, OSHA 10, Six Sigma (preferred)
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and delegate
Physical Requirements
Regular standing, bending, walking, and lifting
Lift 40–50 lbs frequently; up to 80 lbs occasionally
Ability to stack coils up to six feet high
Frequent manual handling of materials
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with loud noise and moving equipment
Temperature variations based on equipment and external conditions
Required PPE: steel-toe footwear, hearing protection, safety glasses
