Production Lead
Location: Owasso, OK 74055
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $19.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Position Summary
A leading company in the food production industry is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Lead to oversee daily operations on a production line. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and supervising a dedicated team of workers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, and a deep understanding of food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
· Leadership & Supervision: Oversee and motivate a team of production workers, ensuring efficient task assignments and adequate staffing levels.
· Training & Development: Conduct thorough onboarding and training on safe meat handling practices, food safety standards, and company policies for new employees.
· Performance Management: Monitor employee performance, provide regular feedback, and address performance issues to maintain high productivity levels.
· Production Oversight: Manage daily production line operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, efficiency targets, and workflow optimization.
· Continuous Improvement: Analyze production rates, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to minimize downtime and maximize output.
· Troubleshooting & Maintenance Coordination: Identify and resolve production issues, coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs, and ensure minimal disruptions.
· Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards, including labeling, packaging, and safety protocols.
· Safety Compliance: Enforce HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
· Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with production managers, maintenance teams, logistics, and quality assurance departments to ensure smooth production operations.
· Recordkeeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output, quality control, and yield data.
Qualifications & Skills
· Experience: 1-3 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing or food production environment.
· Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team to achieve production goals.
· Food Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food labeling regulations.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, management, and cross-functional departments.
· Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
· Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderately heavy items, and work in cold, refrigerated, or warm environments.
· Language Skills: English proficiency required (reading, writing, verbal communication); Spanish is a plus but not required.
