Assembler – Pressure Vessels

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Pressure Vessel Assemblers to join our team in constructing high-quality pressure vessels. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial equipment assembly, welding, and fabrication. This position requires precision, a strong commitment to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pressure Vessel Assembly

  • Assemble tanks, pipes, flanges, and other components, ensuring proper alignment and fitting.

Blueprint Interpretation

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics to meet assembly specifications.

Component Preparation

  • Measure, cut, and prepare metal sheets, pipes, and other components for assembly.

Welding & Fabrication

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding to join components, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Inspection & Quality Control

  • Inspect assembled vessels for defects or inconsistencies and ensure compliance with industry quality standards.

Testing & Leak Detection

  • Assist in pressure testing and leak detection to ensure structural integrity.

Safety Compliance

  • Follow all safety protocols and industry standards for pressure vessel assembly.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and quality control teams to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in assembly, welding, or fabrication, particularly in pressure vessel construction or a related field.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical schematics.
  • Strong understanding of industrial machinery and hand tools used in assembly.
  • Experience with welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Safety-focused mindset with a strong understanding of workplace safety protocols.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and standing for long periods.
  • Must be able to handle hazardous materials and equipment safely.
