Position Overview

We are seeking a Precision Grinder to join our manufacturing team in Tulsa, OK. This role is critical in ensuring that high-quality parts are produced efficiently while maintaining strict quality and cost-control standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules, maintain optimal machine efficiency, and uphold precision machining standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate precision grinding machines to manufacture high-quality parts according to company standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless production and effective communication.
• Perform machine setups and tooling adjustments to meet quality, surface finish, and dimensional tolerances.
• Inspect your own work to ensure compliance with specifications before submitting parts for final inspection.
• Work closely with supervisors to maintain production schedules, minimize waste, and uphold quality standards.
• Participate in cross-training to enhance skill development and improve operational flexibility.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude while building strong working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous experience as a Precision Grinder or in a similar machining role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work with precision tools and machining techniques.
• Strong verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• A cooperative and service-oriented mindset to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Physical Requirements

• 95% of the shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while running production and inspecting work.
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and hold materials weighing up to 50 lbs in confined areas or limited spaces.

Use of lifting devices is encouraged, but some manual handling is required due to machine configurations.
