Job Brief:
We are hiring a Plate Receiver in Sapulpa, OK for a temp-to-hire position. This role offers $15+/hour with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 6 AM - 4 PM, and occasional Saturdays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and inspecting steel plate shipments, ensuring they meet required specifications, and maintaining a well-organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
Receive and Inspect Shipments: Verify the accuracy of incoming plate steel shipments against order details.
Stamping and Labeling: Apply labels with essential information, including dimensions and specifications, to materials.
Quality Assurance: Measure materials using tape measures and perform inspections to ensure they meet quality standards.
Dye Checking: Conduct dye checks to identify surface defects and ensure the integrity of materials.
Organization and Storage: Store and organize plate steel materials safely and efficiently.
Skills Required:
Physical Stamina: Able to lift 50+ lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods.
Tape Measure Proficiency: Skilled in using and reading a tape measure accurately.
Consistent Work History: Demonstrated stability in past jobs, with minimal job hopping.
Safety-Oriented: Comfortable working in a safety-sensitive environment.
**Bonus Skills:** Experience operating stamping equipment and performing dye checks.
