Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to support advanced welding operations in a production environment. This role focuses on high-quality weld execution, equipment setup, and troubleshooting while ensuring all work meets required specifications and quality standards.

The Pipe Welder will be responsible for performing complex welds, operating advanced welding equipment, and maintaining productivity while adhering to safety and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate advanced welding equipment for pipe welding applications
• Perform required weld tests, including Open Root 3G MIG/Flux Core and 6G TIG Root / Flux Fill on 2-inch Schedule 160 pipe
• Identify and repair defective welds while maintaining acceptable repair appearance
• Troubleshoot welding issues to reduce scrap, rework, and downtime
• Ensure all welds meet specification and high-quality standards
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of TIG pipe welding experience
• Proficiency in MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding processes
• Ability to pass 3G and 6G weld tests as outlined
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
