Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating advanced welding equipment, performing high-quality welds, and ensuring compliance with specification standards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering top-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

·         Set up and operate advanced welding equipment for various welding tasks.

·         Perform weld tests, including Open Root 3G MIG/Flux Core and 6G TIG Root/Flux Fill on 2-inch Schedule 160 pipe.

·         Identify and repair defective products while ensuring an acceptable repair appearance.

·         Troubleshoot welding issues to minimize scrap, rework, and equipment downtime.

·         Ensure all welding work meets required specifications and high-quality standards.

·         Follow safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

·         Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pipe welding.

·         Proficiency in MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding techniques.

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.

·         Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve welding defects.

·         Ability to successfully complete 3G and 6G weld tests to industry standards.

·         Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

·         Effective communication and teamwork skills.

·         Self-motivated, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
